So many flowers are blooming around us all year round.
All these flowers have different colors, lifestyles, and different personalities!
They all have their own story to tell!
How do I know?
Because I like to listen to them.
In the “Talking to Flowers” exhibition series, I would like to introduce you to all the flowers I’ve met in Okinawa! Come closer and explore the tales of the Flowers! the exhibition is until the 15th in Ryusion gift shop, but don’t be sad if you missed it, this will have to be a long exhibition series, since i have a lot lot of flowers I want to show you!
And next time you take a walk in the park, or sit down in your garden, look closer to those flowers… they might have a story for you!

ABOUT ME
The Illustrator behind the PIG
Szilvia Szabo is a Hungarian illustrator, painter and storyteller based in Okinawa. Inspired by the nature, she is creating watercolor paintings outside “making conversation” with the ocean, the wind, the trees and flowers. Imagining the personality and the story of nature’s creatures, she “brings them to life” by creating character paintings of them. Her mission is to tell the stories she hears from the nature, create an original colorful illustration world, introducing the faces of nature, that the audience have never met before.
